Victims of Eminent Domain’s purpose is to present the real-life tragedies being forced on the people of Eastern Oklahoma County as a result of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority’s (OTA) plan to build an unnecessary and unjustifiable twenty-two-mile, four-lane highway over homes and farms. The OTA is imposing this outrage because it funds itself from tolls collected on the highways it builds so that it can build more highways and collect still more tolls.
Important: This site now comprises the Victims of Eminent Domain Fund, a registered Oklahoma charitable nonprofit organization, approved by the IRS as a tax-exempt, “public charity” .
